3 Weeks

It’s been a good week for Cason.   Here’s his 3 week picture with Pooh Bear

cason3

We’ve been doing lots of tummy time sessions to work on the back muscles.  He very much favors laying on his right cheek so we put him down on his left cheek to watch him lift it up and turn to the right. DSC_1275DSC_1279

And turning… (I couldn’t catch him right in the middle, this is the best I got)DSC_1273

He also has found his tongue and you see it  coming out more often these days…DSC_1277DSC_1283 DSC_1284

And he can finally wear footed PJ’s.  A combination of finding some that aren’t HUGE and him gaining some weight.  I put him down on the couch after putting him in the PJs and he just layed there like a board.  So funny.  DSC_1281

I think it took him a minute to get used to the one piece thing because as you can see in the pictures above (this morning vs last night) he was back to his usual kicking and leg lifts.

The biggest news is that, since Sunday night, Cason has been sleeping in his room at night.  He was in our room the first two weeks but he is such a loud eater that when I was getting up to feed him, he was waking us both up.  I had started waking up and going to the living room so we didn’t really see much difference in me waking up and going upstairs.  We had to do a monitor switch as our first one didn’t work so hot but the new one is great.  We try to do his last feeding of the night around 11 and most nights he then sleeps until 4ish.  I feed again and he wakes up between 7 and 8.  So, I’m getting 3-4 hours followed by 2-3 hours of sleep at night.  His daytime feedings are much closer together so I’m very happy with the night time schedule!

The rest of our 3week photo session.
