Adventures in Crawling

Cason is crawling EVERYWHERE!  Its the cutest thing, most of the time.  Sometimes I miss that baby that stayed where you placed him but for the most part I love seeing what he'll get into.

He's always had a love for the borders of his playmat.   Now, they go where he goes.  I think he learned this maneuver from his big brother Admiral.

Next, he's found fun things to play with and compartments to get into.  This is the base of the high chair.  He got right in there but couldn't quite figure out how to get out.

I knew it was only a matter of time before he found the bookshelves.  Admiral was a big fan of that bucket of balls but I was able to quickly train him to leave them alone.  Now, I'm working on the same with Cason... but he's not understanding NO yet.

And look, there are books on the other side...

This has nothing to do with crawling but lots to do with Admirals slow revelation that Cason is the most importatnt person in the house.  And, that under his high chair is the best place to be.

Again, nothing to do with crawling but a picture of one of his latest foods... sliced Zuchini and Squash.  He handles these really well since they are so soft and mushy.

And back to crawling... into Admiral's bed and trying to play with his toys.  Eww.

And last,  a quick video.  He's really picked up the pace.

  1. This is such a fun time! People always complained to me how they hated the crawling stage, but I just loved it. It was a nice reminder that they're still babies when they seem to be changing so fast. We really need to get together for a playdate soon!
